Sometimes for very little money you can buy something that creates joy and wonder very far beyond what you'd expect. If I had spent 4 times what this laser costs I would have been more than satisfied. You can see the beam clearly at night and the projector creates a 3d pattern (When used at night outside) that is 'awesome' in the full meaning of that word. I am a 62 year old amateur Astronomer who has, in this green laser, one of the best toys he's ever had.

By the way my cat loves it too, but I can't let her chase the green dot for fear it might cause her eye damage. The green dot is VERY BRIGHT to look at even in the daytime.

Nifty toy. Great for stargazing. kalaidoscopic lens a lot of fun. Lasted for 5 uses. Nuff said.

I bought one of these and loved it so much I bought four more that evening! HDE is a really good company. They shipped fast and answered any questions I had. I only wish I would have noticed the green laser with 5 different filters!!

I purchased this for my paranormal group for spotting shadow people during investigations, I am new to this so I gave this a try and was not disapointed. it is only 30mw so battery life should be great, I will be trying this out more on big investigation next month, I’m sure it will do great

This is an outstanding and very powerful laser. It seems to be of high quality and probably worth the price. However, it is not what is pictured. Also, the one I received DOES NOT use CR2 batteries. It uses 3V 123 sized lithium batteries. They are the same kind used with Surefire flashlights.

The only identifying marks on this laser is "XX-850". The specification tag is the same as what is pictured, and otherwise, it seems like a very good laser. It works well for astronomy as well as the meeting room, but is very bright for the latter.

I am not disappointed, but am not giving it five stars because it is not the same item as is pictured. It is functionally the same as far as I can tell, except for the battery size, but not the same item.

this lazer goes really far,
it is just like it doesnt have no limit
use it to point at stars at night and it is very beautiful

I LOVE THIS,ITS EXTREMLY POWERFUL AND A GREAT ASSESSORY FOR A REAL RIFLE OR AIRSOFT.I ONLY RECOMMEND THIS FOR PPL 18 OR OLDER BECAUSE IF YOU PUT THIS IN YOU EYE YOU WILL GO BLIND!!! RANGE OF OVER 12,000 FEET…ONLY DOWN SIDE IS THE BATTERY THAT COMES WITH IT LOSE POWER FAST SO BUY EXTRA CR2 BATTERIES

Purchased this laser with the understanding that it was 50mw. It is no brighter than my previous green laser that I purchased off of ebay for a few bucks, which came from China, and was a 5 mw. It I might add has had hours and hours of enjoyment and is still working great.

This laser does have the nice on off button, as well as a better case, but is no where close to being what they say as far as power. Side by side my cheapy from China is a tad brighter and has a smaller / tighter focal point a block down the way.

1 star for the nice case and on off button....
Save your money.

I had this product for a while an it’s horrible. It only works when you shake it and latley it’s Been overheating and getting really hot.I can’t use it anymore for fear it will burn my hand. I suggest that no one buy this product . Don’t waste your money!

I got this today, the battery in the laser pointer looks like the most low quality painfully cheap battery I’ve ever seen. Anyways, this item was defective, the laser light was so weak I couldnt even see it on a surface really up close. Also, it only comes with one battery, not 2 like its featured in the photo. Returning for refund and will purchase a little more expensive but better quality one. The screwing ridges are really not smooth so its not the easiest to screw and unscrew to replace battery. I did replace the battery BTW to make sure the problem was not with the battery, even with new batteries this thing barely worked.
