It’s a solid stand at a good height but this color is more like “canteen” than “pewter.” Holla.
what is the metal thing called that is stitched into purses with the brand name engraved in it?
If you look on certain products like clothes, purses, etc. there is a mini plaque that is kind of sewed into Metal Plaques Engraving or onto the product with the company or brand name engraved into it. for example a coach bag has Coach engraved into the silver rectangle that is sewn into the bag from the outside. what is it called and how can i find it on google to order it?I am not a business owner, however I do want to start a business with a brand engraved into that “metal” looking tag. is there a specific name to it?

best earbuds on the market for bass, they seem like they are a little fragile but they have held up nicely for me
Sound on the FMJs is better than average, with a decent low end response. The biggest problem (a deal killer for aerobic activities) is that there is a noticeable thump when moving around in these earbuds. I noticed this specifically while running, rowing and lifting. The thump is loud and happens every time the mic portion bangs against your chest). WOuld recommend for casual, still listening, but nothing else.
It takes a while to know whether headphones will turn out a winner in daily use. Phones that sound great out of the box can just fail. Other sets will take a while to break in, but perform like champs ad infinitum.I had to buy iPhone-compatible earbuds to replace some that were stolen. (JBuds J3M Micro Atomic In-Ear Earphones with Microphone (Jet Black, iPhone Compatible). Those were my first ever in-canal earphones, and were a significant upgrade over the stock iPhone earphones. The FMJs are currently cheaper than those j3Ms here on Amazon. They come with a couple extra sets of Comply foam tips (which, depending on the retail outlet, can run you about $10). They sound good. And the cord noise while walking is much less than I encountered before. After these burn in, and have taken the ride into work a few dozen times, I intend to update. But these certainly make a good first impression.
so I am stuck with an expensive set of headphones that I can only use IF I continually hold down the mic button. A second pair (replacement under warranty) is doing the same thing. This “little” bug for some MP3 players should be noted by S.C. I have read other people are stuck with sets that won’t work with some other players also (like the Zen Stones). I am ANGRY!
Having invested in a B+W Graduated 502 neutral density – Filter – graduated – 77 mm as well a Hoya Moose – Filter – warm circular polarizer – 72 mm, I didn’t want to buy duplicates in other filter sizes. This isn’t an uncommon conundrum, thus step-up rings were created. They can come in all sizes and thicknesses as well as materials, but needing a cheap and comprehensive solution, I sought out a bundle such as this. With that in mind, I ordered the Fotodiox rings, and they arrived the next day. Since I was leaving for a 2 week vacation, I threw them in my bag before giving them a try in a more controlled environment. I primarily used the 72mm – 77mm ring, which allowed my Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 G ED-IF AF-S VR DX Zoom-Nikkor Lens to use the 77mm grad ND filter (a boon with the ever-present Norwegian sun). This combination worked without any issues, but the step-up ring seemed more inclined to want to cross threads than I’m used to. This seemed to not happen as much in subsequent installation. Some vignetting was seen, and when I added the polarizer in a stack, the corners were black until 35mm. This isn’t entirely due to the step-up ring, as both filters are somewhat thick, but there definitely are thinner step up rings (for a higher cost). Going from 67mm-72mm-77mm worked, as my 67mm lens is a full frame tele lens (Nikon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED IF AF-S VR Zoom Nikkor Lens for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras), and I can imagine the somewhat thick nature of these step up rings causing an issue on DX wide angle lenses. All told, I’m glad I bought these rings, but if you’re looking for the absolute best solution (especially for wide angle lenses), look elsewhere.
I’ve been doing photography for years as a hobby – I’ve got all the fancy stuff and filters for everything. Problem is – filters are EXPENSIVE – especially the good ones, so I looked into these.I’ve heard about step-up rings before but avoided them because they were always kind of pricey – you need one for each size lens. Fortunately this set packs everything from 49 – 77mm, so you can make it just the size you need it (stacking the rings together) and at such a cheap price. Build quality is good, but stacked together it does become kind of bulky (so if space is at a minimum in your bag, these might be a bit much. Fortunately you can always just bring whatever sizes you need – it’ll still be less than if you were to bring filters for each lens!If you buy these, buy the largest size filter you need – usually 77mm – then just use the step up rings to make it the size you need it. Using this method I was able to bring just 1 polarizer and use it on a 18-55 lens, a 70-200, and a variety of primes (30, 50, 85), all of which use different filter sizes. Wish I had bought this earlier!
This a great solution when you have multiple lens with different filter threads. I only have to buy one FX filters (CPL, FL, ND, star, grad ND, etc) for the largest filter thread (67mm in my case) and use them on smaller lens filter thread:52mm thread on Nikon prime 50mm f1.8 and Panasonic DMC-FZ8; 58mm thread on Sigma 70-300mm f4-5,6 an so on….and 67mm thread on Nikon 18-105mm f4-5,6 (without any adapter of course)
I was looking specifically for a 67-72mm step up ring, but the price on this product was so low, that I bought these instead. This step-up ring set is made of all metal, the threading makes attaching and detaching from the lens / filter fairly effortless. Storage is very easy, since the rings all screw together, making a tidy little cone. I have zero complaints about the filter ring set. One caveat is that you may not be able to use your lens hood while a larger filter is attached; this isn’t so much a problem with the ring set, but a configuration that wasn’t accounted for by the lens manufacturer. If a lens hood is an absolute requirement, then there are screw mount lens hoods on the market that will attach to these as well. With the low cost and high utility of this ring set, I would consider it a “must-have” for any photographer’s toolbox.
Handy little camcorder to take to soccer, T-ball, the pool, etc. I bought the cords and a case–worth it.
I also own the RCA small wonder, and the regular flip camcorder, but I like this one the best. It’s small enough to fit in your pocket or purse, and it works great. The clarity of the videos are amazing, and the sound is awesome. The only thing I haven’t figured out yet is how to edit the videos in another program besides the one that comes with the camera, but I’m getting to it.
Pros- Simple, intuitive interface.- Very portable in size, weight and shape.- Records sound (well) in stereo.- It’s packaged well and includes a lanyard and nice cloth pouch.- It has a tripod mount.Cons- You can’t replace the battery. - You can’t charge it in your car.- You can’t zoom beyond 2x.- You can’t use it (well) in low light.- You can’t record the full 2-hour capacity without at least one battery recharge.- You’ll have a limited field of view because of the small lens.- It’s easy to accidentally hit the touch controls.More subjectively, the MinoHD is perfectly fine for how my family and I use it: To capture spur-of-the-moment video of our two young children during funny moments or developmental milestones. If we had video-capable smartphones, however, I don’t know that we’d need it, as (1) the HD quality and its attendant huge file size seem superfluous, and (2) who wants to carry multiple devices in their pockets?
I purchased this as a Christmas gift (12/2009) for my 13 year old daughter. By May 2010 (shortly after the 90 day warranty ended), it no longer worked. What I thought was a convenient way to plug the camera into the computer, without keeping track of a cord, is somehow broken. The computer won’t sense the camera, hence, my daughter can no longer charge the thing. I think the camera probably still works, but this is a MAJOR flaw in the design.
I actually use one for my cell phone and one for my camera. As a busy publicist, I need both close at hand at my clients’ events, but don’t want to be holding them in my hands or fishing for them in my bag. I wear my cell phone daily and now I’ve noticed friends starting to copy me! I’ve set a trend, I guess! lolThe delivery was awesome – got it all the way here in Hawaii in a couple of days. Much faster than I expected.
I was very happy to get this strap! It is a secure strap which although extremely functional is also stylish. Delivery from shutterbug was quick and I was so impressed, I immediately ordered another!
I love my new camera strap, was cheap and good quality, much better than expected!!
