I was skeptical of the product just based off it’s price, but after using them everyday for the last 3 weeks, I feel they are worth every penny:)

i have these two hand size stones. one of them is granite, and the other is bronze and there each as thick as a book. they each have something engraved on them and i want to like somehow get rid of the writing and Stone Engraving Tools write my own little thing. i have the tools to write what i want but the problem is i dont know what to use to get rid of the writing thats already there. this is a gift for my grandfather who is also my bestfriend, i would rather not take it somewhere where they do it and would like to do it myself. i found a site too with alot of tools but i dont really know which or what to use. please help me thanks.this is the site http://www.thesculpturestudio.com/stone_carving_tools.htm

This works good i actually found them at walmart no clip and you slid the zen into a rubber sleeve it only cost $1 was on clearance at walmart so save the pepsi points and look a t walmart in the clearance area of electronics

I attached my headlamp to it then put it on my bicycle helmet. This strap is of good thick quality but the velcro closure is short in length. The rubber Zen Mp3 player skin is thin.I don’t expect it to take much wear and tear or abuse and is not watertight.

I love the armband, it’s perfect. But when I went to charge my player for the first time I wanted to take the skin off so I could see when it was finished (I ordered the black), the skin just ripped, very easily. I would recommend getting a hard skin, if there is such a thing.

i have big arms and it is very hard to find a band that will hold my mp3 player and fit on my arm. before I would have to hold it in my pocket with speaker on or clip to my shirt (falls off). Happy I was able to find them on amazon, and was able to get two. its good to have back up. however i do not like that i can not see the screen on the player. When this first cmae out the company’s website showed the armband with two circle cut outs. (reason for loss of stars, it could have been 5.) I have never been able to find those. the screen has a nice display would be nice to see it when im using the band. I guess i will have to do it myself. i would still recommend this band to big armed people, even if your mp3 player cnt fit into the case, it can be removed.

I received my skins today, which are needed as I’m a dropper and don’t want to damage my player. Granted, the green one isn’t a true lime green. It’s more of a bright yellow that has a green tint to it in certain lights, but that’s how it looked in the picture on my computer screen so I wasn’t surprised. Regardless, I like the color! I also have not had any difficulties with the clips breaking thus far.

  6. Barfoot says:

The skins work well (although I wish there was more of a color choice), but the clips are cheap. It’s a good thing that there’s 3 in the pack and that the clips are removeable and interchangeable because mine broke the first day I used it.

  7. Fultz says:

WOW — I expected ONE clip with 3 skins, but each skin has its own clip !!!So, three excellent skins with 3 CLIPS — all slaying the iP*d Shuffle …A super great deal for $15 — don’t miss it.

  8. Allen says:

The skins protect your ZEN Stone Plus from scratches and dings. They are very easy to put on your player and also wipe clean easily. The clip clips on to just about anything…shirts, jeans, purse, bookbag, etc. I’ve owned mine for about 3 months and have had no problems.

Brought it with me to Taiwan. Friends there could not understand the pronunciation from the dictionary. Plus, the words used in the software are not common. Their opinion – “If you use those words people will figure out what you mean, but they don’t speak that way.” Also, the two voices saying the words were pronouncing some words differently from each other. However, having the audio pronunciation guide is essential compared to a written phonetic one because of the tonal system.

It is a decent product. I arrived in Taipei a few weeks ago and it helped me learn the basics: numbers, hello, thank you, etc. However, the games are tame and the accents are more geared for mainland China. It is not a substitute for an actual class but it is a good place to start before your plane leaves.

This program is pretty darn cool. I got this for my 11 year old son who will be starting Mandarin at school in a few weeks. He played with this for the first time last night and in about 30 minutes could count from 1-20 in Chinese. You connect a headset with microphone to the laptop and the program records your voice as you repeat the lessons. You can then listen back to your voice and compare it to the instructor voice. This is critical since intonation is so important in the Mandarin language. There are quite a few games too that make learning fun.

  12. Givens says:

This product is horrible. It’s archaic, cheaply done, and a complete waste of time and money. Even considering its modest price, it should be avoided.

  13. Gatti says:

For running this stone is the best. Unlike the Ipod, cumbersombe is the IPOD, the stone is easy breazy. LOVE IT/

  14. Jeffers says:

I use this for my audio books and it’s just the right size for the yard or the car or just walking around the house. The sound is fine and plays well. It’s easy to use, even for a beginner. Plays wma as well as mp3 files.

I bought this a few weeks ago on Amazon.com, and it was on sale for only $15.99. That was the BEST $15.99 I EVER spent. The thing is SO SMALL and convenient, plus, it’s REALLY easy to use. You charge it up on a USB port, which takes about 2 hours, and you’re ready to go for a good 10 hours. Plus, and this was the MAIN REASON I bought it, the built-in speaker is FABULOUS!!!! When I read reviews on how loud the speaker was, it forced me to buy it, and I am SO THANKFUL that I did. It’s the LOUDEST speaker I’ve ever heard ON a little MP3 player. I was going to buy another one, just to have a second one around, but by the time I was ready to buy it, the price went up to $[...]. NOT that it’s NOT worth $[...], because it most DEFINITELY IS, but when you’ve just paid $15.99 for something, going up another [...] bucks is a little steep. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!!!!!!!

This is one of the coolest little electronic devices I have ever seen. I have owned mine for about a year now, I guess, and it has been a very good value, especially when I compare it to the equivalent iPod–the Shuffle. I remember about two years ago when my brother-in-law showed me his Shuffle; I was totally blown away by the size (the original was even smaller than this Zen Stone) and the sound quality. But then last year, I came across the Creative website and started comparing those two products. The Stone had 2 GB; his Shuffle had only 1 GB. The Stone (the one I got anyway) had a built-in speaker; the Shuffle did not. The Stone had a sliding button to skip to the next playlist; the Shuffle did not. But most amazingly, the Stone cost me $42 with free shipping, while his cost him more than a hundred dollars! Now, this is not necessarily comparing apples to Apples (hehe) because he bought his when the Shuffle was still very new, but if you compare the two now, you’ll still see a big difference. All that being said, I will mention one negative: The back button on my particular player will no longer allow me to scan through a track in reverse by holding it down. It now only immediately goes back to the beginning of the track no matter how long I hold the button down. But it’s still at a really good price, so I would just replace it with another if I were going to buy another of the same capacity.I would definitely recommend this mp3 player to anyone that just needs an inexpensive device to hold and play a few songs.
