I see all the complaints posted about these being light in color, including the one that says “like water colors”, or not lasting that long, but the watercolor comment is important to keep in mind. These are the only CD/DVD markers I’ve found that clearly state they use a water-based ink. That’s what you want for labeling your CDs. A solvent-based marker, like a Sharpie, will eventually cause damage to your disc and so corrupt the data on the disc. I’m not saying these are great markers, but I use them because I trust that they won’t eventually damage my recordings, and that’s more important than the colors being a little light or the markers running out after a few hundred discs. Worth the price of having to buy them more often to know that 10 years from now my movie/music/data will still be good.

windows98 ac97 sound card damaged?
even after installation my ac97 sound card in pentium III processor, it has an exclamation mark on the device manager. I KNOW IT IS THE RIGHT DRIVER. on going Marking Control Card to multimedia settings in control panel——->preferred device under playback, i cant even see the name of my sound card in the list. SHOULD I CONSIDER MY ON BOARD SOUND CARD AS DAMAGED, AND GO IN FOR A NEW PCI INTERNAL SOUND CARD. what should i do???/ i have used this driver almost abt 50 times earlier when i used to format my PC myself, and it worked.

The product is even better than expected. Although you cannot see it, there are separate slots for the AA and AAA batteries. These cases are sturdy plastic, just what I wanted. Also, the cases fluoresce under black light – a bright orange.

Not much more I can say other than is does what advertised. One of the cases has a chip of plastic missing already, which speaks to build quality.

I just wrote a review for this item and made an error stating the shipping was fast but I had thought it was a bit high. Actually I got this order confused with another order I had placed and the shipping cost on this order was perfect it was free so disregard my comment on shipping.

Smart and simple. 4 AA or 4 AAA batteries fit nice and snug, depending on which set of grooves you use. Perfect solution for batteries rolling around. Also very pleased with the speed of shipping – the shipment went out the day I ordered and got here in record time.

I love post it arrows. I keep some in my desk, my computer bag, and in my bum roll. They’re great for bookmarks and for ‘tabbing’ pages in books that you are going to use again and again. I would not have made it through some of my grad school classes without tabbing the APA manual for certain footnote styles. The great thing is when you are done with the arrow, just toss it. They don’t mar the page, but they stay where you put them, unlike my traditional bookmarks which get stolen by my cat and put in my bed at 3:00 AM. Rebecca Kyle, October 2008

I write on CDs and DVDs (not the labels that tape onto the media) and they work great. I’ve had the same set for at least 6 years, I lost the black so I mostly use the Blue now. They are still working great. I’m not sure what the problems others are having. I find they write as dark as any markers on anything. I don’t see any “bleeding” on the media surface. I don’t know what I’d do without them.

I bought mine in Walmart. Two markers were not working from the beginning. Others lasted for few months, but I was not using them very often. I just needed one good marker that would work well. I was also ready to spent some extra money on it. Instead I got bunch of garbage. Very disappointed.

I have these and a bunch of TDK brand CD Markers. After comparing these to the TDKs, I’m trashing the Memorex ones. They are that bad.

I bought these at best buys and what a waste of money. After I just opened it and started to write on the discs, all the pens did not write clear and some were dryed out. Only the red worked fine but the rest smudged all over the disc like it was a paint brush. Save yourself from a headache, don’t buy these markers. I’m planning to buy sharpies to see how those turn out.
